<p>The one thing that we love about fall is that you can start to see what players have put in high-quality work, and you can see who has elevated their game. The Great Western Classic provides that opportunity for players across different skill levels to showcase their new skill set. Here is a list of a few players who really made a noticeable improvement in their game.</p>

<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796796' first='Tabitha' last='Clark'], Pleasant Grove</strong>: She has shown a remarkable ability to control the game's pace, allowing her to effortlessly reach her designated spots. At times, her performance appears almost effortless. With continued dedication throughout the season, she has the potential to become one of the top rebounders and scorers in the state, irrespective of her classification.</li>

<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1238745' first='Elise' last='Southworth'], Copper Hills</strong>: Her quickness and physicality as an on-ball defender were solid as she caused issues with lead ball handlers. She moves up and down the floor effortlessly, and if she could utilize that more in transition, there's no reason she can't get easy scoring opportunities.</li>

<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='997504' first='Stella' last='Madsen'], Timpview:</strong> Madsen has shown significant improvement, from her rim-running and screen-and-roll work to her perimeter shooting. She is on the way to becoming a threat all over the floor, not just inside. Madsen has also shown improvement on defense as she often just walls up, and other times she knows when to contest a shot more aggressively. <br></li>

<p>These athletes' dedication and hard work were evident at the GWC, and their progress is truly inspiring. Big shout out to the Great Western Classic for putting together a great event. We hope to see more high schools in this local event next year. </p>
