The Expo: Wrap up and final observations

One of the better lead guards that I watched with the quickness to get to the hoop, the ability to finish through and over traffic, and was virtually automatic from the free throw line. Smart floor general who knows where to find her teammates and when to look for her own shot. In the game I was watching she made two nice passes, through traffic, to cutting teammates and showed toughness in finishing two buckets in heavy traffic. Allie was of the stronger finishers, around the hoop, finishing over and through contact, on multiple occasions, and shot a high percentage from the free-throw line all afternoon. It makes sense since she shot 83% last season! She showed a complete all-around game including the ability to control the pace creating open looks for her teammates. Shooting 32.9%, from 3, last season, Melanie looks to have worked hard this offseason and I expect, from what I saw, for that number to be closer to 40% this season!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
