The Last Dance: Seniors That Can Lead Their Team To A State Final

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">One more season to attempt to win it all, and while a lot of those factors might not be in the players' control, their performance each game and leadership off the court will play a major role in making it happen by spring. Below are a few seniors from different classes who have shown, or continue to show, that they have what it takes to lead their team there. </h3>    Behrmann has been the core of this Nashville team's success over the past couple of years, and after last year's 2A state title win, it would be no surprise to see them back down to the state win again. What Emma brings to this team is her toughness, relentlessness, and the energy to do whatever is needed of her to secure the W. She does most of her damage finishing at the rim, but what she provides on the boards and defense will be key in going back-to-back.     Totaro is one half of arguably the best frontcourt in the state, let alone their class. She is an energy player who can do whatever is needed on both sides of the floor. She can protect the paint, as well as guard the perimeter. Offensively, she can score off the catch, off the dribble, and isn't afraid to attack in transition. With a strong team surrounding her, DCP could make its way downstate.     Coming off a season with only four losses, Dejesus is set to lead her team on another deep playoff run, this time in 1A. She's already etched her name in the record books at Deer Creek, but the one goal still out there is a trip to the state finals. She's a player who consistently has three to five sets of eyes watching her, but she's handled that pressure before and proven she can still dominate. Expect her to do the same again this season.     The 1A field is a little lighter this year with some of the dominant players graduating, and with the Wildcats losing a close game in the playoffs to the team that won it.. gives a clear sign that they can get to state. Parker is one of the stars in the 1A class, and the amount of pressure she puts on the defense will definitely open up a lot more opportunities for her teammates. She's a kid who can average 20+ pts, 5 asts, and 5+ rebounds. This type of stat line will definitely help with getting to the state this year.     Lee is a part of the best front court in the state, in my opinion, and though both players are different, they both bring a ton of impact. Grace's ability to take control of the paint is where she'll do most of her damage this year. She'll command the double and has the IQ to find her shooters and slashers for easy points. With her confidence growing behind the arc, expect to see her PPG increase this year. This program has a strong core, and Lee's production will be a major key to their success.
