Providence Day hosted their Super Scrimmage to kick off November with teams from across North Carolina (and even some out of state!) coming to compete against one another in their first official action as high school groups. It's time to dive into the standouts from the event with the below athletes showing a huge amount of versatility on the court.

NyKira Arrington was all over the court grabbing rebounds, making sharp passes, and pushing the tempo up the court when she gained the possession for her team. She dove on the floor going after loose balls. She did a nice job sliding around the perimeter looking for the opening to show off her range.

[player_tooltip player_id='509587' first='Miley' last='Malcolm'] does well facilitating plays around the perimeter whether she is putting up her shot, finding the open teammate in the paint, or making adjustments to get a play going. She gets inside battling for rebounds using offensive boards to score some points at the rim. She rolls well to the basket, too, being ready for the pass to score off her cut.

[player_tooltip player_id='885660' first='Shelby' last='Thompson'] is quick getting to the basket on fast breaks waiting for the pass and scoring in transition. She plays tough defense constantly causing problems for her opponents as she slides in front of them and blocks their path to the basket. She knows how to read the floor finding the opening to make a play on offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='772574' first='Khloe' last='Joyner'] was doing a nice job pushing the tempo handling the ball up the court off a rebound and finding her open teammate underneath the basket. She comes to the pass making sure she's the one who gets the possession, and she is always moving even without the ball to find the opening. Her ability to make the defenders crash around her opens the floor up for her to make the pass inside.
