<p>With the season starting very soon, I am going to predict how each conference is going to end up finishing. This will be based on last years standings, returning players, and how who/how many each team lost. Here we will start with some of the 1A conferences. The teams are listed in the order I believe they will finish.</p>

<p><em><strong>Caribou Trail:</strong></em></p>

<p>Cascade (Leavenworth) - losing 2 seniors but have 6 players who are current sophomore's now and carry varsity expirence into this year. Kaylee Lewis, a 5'10” wing/post, is the only current senior on the squad. </p>

<p>Chelan - losing 1 senior. Chelan will return back most of its roster, including Avari Barker (6'1” post), Finley Brandt (5'5” guard), & Jayci Simmons (5'3” guard) are the current seniors on the team.</p>

<p>Omak - losing 1 senior. Most of this squad is returning as well. Paityn Richter (6'1” post) and [player_tooltip player_id='1226975' first='Finley' last='Sackman'] (5'11” wing/post) are some seniors to watch. This team will also feature 3 freshman who were on the team last year as 8th graders.</p>

<p><em><strong>ESC Chinook:</strong></em></p>

<p>Kings - losing 2 seniors plus [player_tooltip player_id='751202' first='Bella' last='Trias-Ruiz'] who transferred to a school in Hawaii. [player_tooltip player_id='585032' first='Kaleo' last='Anderson'] will be back and is one of the top players in the entire state. She will lead this team far into the 1A state tournament. [player_tooltip player_id='1276293' first='Eleanor' last='Gaydos'] is another player to keep an eye on.</p>

<p>Cedar Park Christian - losing 5 seniors from last year. Elisabeth Byeman is the only current senior on this years team, they are young but skilled. Kings won both matchups last year.</p>

<p><strong><em>ESC Coho:</em></strong></p>

<p>Bear Creek - losing 3 seniors. They retain a good amount of their core squad from last year. Hanna Vinkemulder is a guard to keep an eye on. Calyse Parker is another senior to watch. McKenna Prock is an underclassman who could have a big season.</p>

<p>Bush - losing 5 seniors. Bush is going to be a young team this season with Sanui Agarwal being the lone senior. Most of these players are now current sophomores so they have a little bit of varsity experience.</p>

<p>Granite Falls - losing 3 seniors. Granite Falls is only losing a few players & will now be a team with the majority being seniors. They have a lot of experience and could surprise some people.</p>

<p>Eastside Prep - losing 5 seniors. Sydney Belfiore & Jenna Peyree are the only current seniors. They have a lot of young talent and should stay in pace with the fellow teams in the league.</p>

<p>South Widbey - losing 5 seniors. Maddy Muniz and Lyla Hutson are some players to keep an eye on as then season gets underway. They will have a solid season and be in the middle of the pack.</p>

<p>University Prep - losing 4 seniors. They will retain a lot of their overall core team and will compete in games. Larissa Rosenthal and Summer Coulter are some seniors to watch. </p>

<p>Northwest - losing 6 seniors. With most of the team graduating, they will be a new look squad. Keep an eye on Mariyamawit Maddie, a 5'11” senior post and Lydia Darby, another 5'11” post player. </p>

<p>Overlake - losing 5 seniors. Overlake is another team that will be a new look squad. Maggie Chen and Kate Mystkowski will be their lone seniors leading the young squad. </p>

<p><strong><em>Evergreen 1A:</em></strong></p>

<p>Montesano - losing 3 seniors. With most of the core coming back, including [player_tooltip player_id='587412' first='Evanjillie' last='Dalan'] who is one of the top players in the 1A class. Ragan Wintrip is the only other senior on the roster.</p>

<p>Hoquiam - losing 2 seniors. Most of their core will be returning as well, which makes the race in this conference a lot of fun. They are a younger team, with 6 players being underclassman. Sydney Gordon is a 5'9” senior guard to watch. </p>

<p>Elma - losing 3 seniors. Elma could be a really sneaky team this year. They return a lot of players and have a solid young core. Emily Escoffon is a 6'2” senior to watch. Keke Bol, 5'10” junior guard and Killie Vest, a 6'0” sophomore post could also have solid impacts. </p>

<p>Tenino - losing 3 seniors. They are going to be a really young core, having 6 players who are sophomore or freshman who were on the team last year. Chloe Grayless is a 5'10” wing to watch. </p>

<p>Rochester - losing 4 seniors. This team is going to gain a lot of expirence this season. They have no current seniors, so they should learn a lot this year and gel well throughout the year. 7 players are sophomores. Lexi Dupont is a player to watch.</p>

<p><em><strong>Northwest 1A:</strong></em></p>

<p>Lakeside (9 Mile) - losing 2 seniors. Jillian Owen will be the lone senior on this years team and with most of the group coming back, I think they will have a great season.</p>

<p>Colville - losing 4 seniors. The majority of this squad will be back ready to try to compete for a league title. Adelyn Marshall, Analee Krioss, and Adalynn Ortner are all seniors to watch.</p>

<p>Medical Lake - losing 1 senior. They will be a young team but with a lot of pieces coming back, they could be a surprise to everyone. They have a solid 2029 class incoming as well. Watch out for 5'8” guard Sadie Evans, too.</p>
