While prospects, from bigger schools, tend to get all of the spotlight, there is talent sprinkled all over Wisconsin's smaller towns. Here is my list of small town seniors who are off to hot starts:

Macy McKay-Riverdale

The 5'9" McKay is off to a hot senior year averaging 18.8 ppg and 14.2 rpg over the first four games with Riverdale sitting at 3-1. The softball standout and Honorable Mention All-Conference selection comes into her senior season with 595 career points and will hit 1,000 career points if she can keep her scoring pace up.

[player_tooltip player_id='842221' first='Melaina' last='Granquist']-Wittenberg-Birnamwood

Granquist, who was the leading scorer in the Chargers 27-1 season, has picked up where she left off starting the season putting up 22.2 points and 13.5 rebounds in four victories. The road to the division 3 title will not be easy but Western Illinois commit, Granquist, and her 1,293 career points, will be looked to get the Chargers over the hump and to the Resch Center in March.

Allie Robel-Elk Mound

Another team looking to make a splash in D3 are the Elk Mound Mounders led by their 5'11" senior sensation Robel. The multi-sport athlete is off to a great start putting up 68 points and 32 rebounds, in three opening week wins, and she has Elk Mound looking poised to make a run back to the state tournament where their season was ended by Xavier in the semi-final game.

Kennadie Berg-Altoona

Division 3 is loaded with great teams and Altoona is also looking to make some noise as they are off to an undefeated start. Leading the way for the Railroaders is the 5'7" Berg who put up 20 ppg and 11 rpg in her first three games. Berg has taken a huge jump, from her junior season, where she averaged just under 5 points per game and will be counted on to help Altoona replace their two top scorers from last season.

Bree Heller-Mauston

The 6'0" senior put up one of the more complete stat lines over her first three games. 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.3 steals in a 2-1 start. She begins her final season with 810 career points and was a key reason for the Golden Eagles 19 win 2025 season.
