While duos often steal the headlines, the teams with three or four high-impact players are usually the ones cutting down nets in March. Here are the state's most dangerous trios and quartets heading into the new season.

5A Class

[player_tooltip player_id='648192' first='LillyAnna' last='Martinez'], [player_tooltip player_id='831120' first='Daysia' last='Jack'], [player_tooltip player_id='839457' first='Madilynn' last='Martinez'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1068445' first='Larissa' last='Martinez'] (Rio Rancho)

This lightning-quick, family-fueled guard quartet is a defensive nightmare and an offensive whirlwind. All four are crafty, multi-level scorers with elite handles and basketball IQ. Last season, they terrorized opponents, leading the Rams (21-11) to the Elite Eight while combining for 40.2 points, 14.8 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 11.4 steals, and a sizzling 124 made three-pointers. When these four share the court, chaos (the good kind) follows.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221571' first='Savannah' last='Madueno'], [player_tooltip player_id='1221594' first='Malia' last='Mose'], [player_tooltip player_id='1221604' first='Danae' last='Elzy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1221606' first='Erin' last='Winters'] (Cleveland)

A sneaky-dangerous, under-the-radar perimeter crew that flies a bit under the statewide radar but absolutely torches teams on any given night. This blend of polished veterans and rising young guards rained 105 threes last season and turned defense into instant offense. The Storm (13-15) rode their energy to the Round of 16, with the quartet posting 32.7 points, 16.0 rebounds, and 6.8 steals per game. Don't sleep on Cleveland — they're built to shock people this year.

4A Class

[player_tooltip player_id='648212' first='Mia' last='Bishop'], [player_tooltip player_id='839433' first='Bri' last='Bishop'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1233322' first='Adalynn' last='Day'] (Hope Christian)

Twin towers plus one: the Bishop sisters and [player_tooltip player_id='1233322' first='Adalynn' last='Day'] form a long, versatile, and downright nasty defensive trio with true positional size. Many coaches call them the most disruptive defensive unit in the entire 4A classification. Offensively, they're just as dangerous. The fierce competitors carried Hope (18-10) back to the Elite Eight, combining for 31.7 points, 23.5 rebounds, 7.8 steals, and a barrage of perimeter and post buckets. Good luck scoring on these three.

[player_tooltip player_id='893562' first='Haylee' last='Nocki'], [player_tooltip player_id='1058912' first='Elaina' last='Clani'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1068199' first='Allyson' last='Tsosie'] (Kirtland Central)

A battle-tested, nearly impossible-to-guard trio that came within one win of a state championship last season. Tsosie (two-time all-state), Clani (all-state), and Nocki (all-state honorable mention) bring experience, toughness, and a knack for making big plays in crunch time. The Broncos finished 28-4, claimed the No. 1 seed in District 1, and reached the 4A title game behind this savvy group's leadership and production. Expect Kirtland Central to be right back in the hunt — and many are picking them to finish the job this March.

**Statistica via MaxPreps**

While duos often steal the headlines, the teams with three or four high-impact players are usually the ones cutting down nets in March. Here are the state's most dangerous trios and quartets heading into the new season.
