In this article, we take a look at University Academy, which is located in Kansas City, MO. The Lady Gryphons have been a consistent run of 15 win seasons and conference title runs over the last 4 years. Not only that they have continued to help produce some great talent to continue to be recognized throughout the area. </p>

<p>UA is returning six players from a year ago. Five players played substantial minutes last year. This group is led by forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1117274' first='Leataata' last='Iatala']</strong> who was top 3 in points and rebounds last season. She's a dominate low post player that has continued to add value and versatility to her game. This year we expect her to Other notable names from last year are <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='777621' first='Layla' last='Whitney']</strong>, who is a sharp shooter, <strong>Bria Rhodes</strong> who is a do it all type player, <strong>Anahla Nugent</strong>, <strong>Jada Ross</strong>, and <strong>Laniyah Harris</strong> who is a low post player that shows potential of being a consistent threat around the rim as she continues to develop.</p>

<p>One key new addition is <strong>Johnae Orr</strong> who Coach Jackson said should make a gradual incline in minutes during the season as her development continues to grow. </p>
