Bailey Balir has been on a true heater to start her senior season.

As of now, Blair is leading Richland in points per game, averaging 18.1 points in eight logged games. In scoring these points, Blair can score at all levels of the floor, but she especially loves to shoot the three. With her speed on and off the ball, she is a tough player for defenders to stay in front of on the perimeter. To pair with this quickness, she has a quick shot release.

A couple of games in which she excelled from distance this year were against Columbia Central and Nashville Christian. Against Columbia Central, she had four made threes, and against Nashville Christian, she had three.

At 5'9", [player_tooltip player_id='1234197' first='Mary' last='Avery McNeese'] contributes and helps Richland High School be a good team in multiple ways. This was highlighted in a recent game against Columbia Central High School.

Against the opposing Lady Lions, McNeese did it all. She was active both on the perimeter guarding Central players and on the interior. She had a play where she jumped and picked off a pass to the left wing, then used her speed to get ahead of all players and score a layup at the other end. Inside the paint, she denied a layup attempt. She did this after her teammate got beat off the dribble, and she rotated and played help defense.

On offense, McNeese had a good day, scoring 16 points in the game. Along with some buckets from the inside, she also hit a deep left-wing three-pointer in the game.

The 5'10" sophomore Dannie Lynn Galloway is going to be a player for this Richland squad down the road, and is now.

Galloway, in just her second year of high school hoops, is already contributing to her varsity squad. One of the main ways she has done so is by locking in defensively. She is an elite reader of passing lanes. In a game earlier this season against Cascade High School, Galloway had five steals. All of these came from intercepting passes.

Often paired beside Galloway, on the low block is sophomore power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1445612' first='Kate' last='Kirk'].

Kirk, like Galoway, has stood out defensively this year. She has also been one of the best players in rebounding the basketball this season. This includes a game against Nashville Christian. In this contest, she had nine points and also 12 rebounds.

Kirk at the PF position also has the capability of shooting threes.

Senior guard for Richland [player_tooltip player_id='900842' first='Baylee' last='Hollis'] is in the midst of a good season.

Hollis does a bunch of winning things on the basketball court, seen often with good fourth-year guards in high school She can shoot threes, rebound, and provide great wing defense. These winning traits were all seen in a contest against Eagleville High School earlier this year. In the game, she had 10 points, which included a three from the top of the key. She also had six boards and a steal.

Hollis' effort on the offensive boards especially stands out. She had a stretch of three consecutive games where she had four offensive boards this season.
