This was a huge game for Addyson's confidence especially with it being the first one of the season. She led the team in scoring, and a lot of that came from her ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc. Having her on the floor allows Legend to space the floor and lets her shift between on-ball and off-ball duties depending on what the team needs.

Games like Tatum's on Monday night have to become a regular thing for this team to reach full strength. She finished with nine points but her impact came just as much from the rebounds and steals she piled up in both the half court and transition. Her motor sets the tone, and when she plays this hard, it elevates everyone around her.

Grace looked really good on the offensive end of the floor as she stayed in attack mode all night. She forced defenders to guard her 94 feet found openings to knock down a couple of threes and kept pressure on the defense by attacking the paint. Her ability to get to the rim and the free-throw line gave the team a scoring option every possession.

Having two bigs on the floor allows Mairead to help break pressure in the backcourt by bringing the ball up when needed. She did a strong job getting into the high post for uncontested looks and made the most of her touches. She also took advantage of mismatches in one-on-one situations, giving Denver East a steady interior presence.

Cecillia is a huge asset off the bench because she embraces all the dirty work plays that matter late in games. She won multiple 50-50 plays and got a few put backs on the offensive end that kept momentum alive. As the game tightened up, she also came through with key defensive stops that helped Denver East stay in control.
