The event brought together elite programs from <strong>Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky</strong>, including <strong>Male (KY), River Rouge (MI), Fort Wayne Snider (IN), Detroit Mumford (MI), Pike (IN), Big Walnut (OH), Bellville (MI),</strong> and <strong>Lawrence Central (IN)</strong>. Every team boasted standout talent, with several players already committed to Division I programs or drawing interest from multiple D1 offers. The tournament was extremely well organized and offered fans the chance to watch high-level competition, featuring fast-paced action, intense defense, and individual skill on display. </p>

<p>Across the tournament, <strong>Pike (IN)</strong> continued to show why they are considered one of Indiana's deepest teams, combining talented scorers with strong defensive execution. Other standout performers included <strong>players from Fort Wayne Snider, Detroit Mumford,</strong> and <strong>Big Walnut</strong>, all of whom displayed scoring versatility, athleticism, and poise under pressure. The tournament provided a glimpse of the future stars in prep girls basketball, highlighting players who can impact games on both ends of the floor and showing the importance of teamwork and basketball IQ at a high level. With so much talent on display, fans were treated to a showcase of competitive, exciting basketball that sets the tone for the rest of the holiday season.</p>

<p>In their game, <strong>Male (KY)</strong> demonstrated scoring ability at all three levels, highlighting the talent on their roster. <strong>#5 Zion Sins</strong> led the way with <strong>20 points</strong>, most coming in the second half, while <strong>#32 Jamyiah Smith</strong> added <strong>14 points</strong> and <strong>#23 Rachel Fanning</strong> contributed <strong>8 points</strong>. Male led throughout, entering the second half up <strong>30-23</strong> and exploding for a <strong>17-point third quarter</strong> to push their lead to 14. In the fourth quarter, they continued making smart decisions and played solid defense, making it difficult for River Rouge to mount a comeback. Male finished with a <strong>61-45 victory</strong> and improved to <strong>4-6 on the season</strong>.</p>

Her leadership and command of tempo allowed her to dictate how the game was played. The junior guard is a key piece to Male (KY) continuing its success, and her two-way ability makes her a guard to monitor at the next level. Defensively, she used her physicality and motor to battle inside, rebound her area, and contest shots around the rim. One of the most impressive aspects of her game was how effectively she used her body to create space and finish through contact in the paint. Jamyiah scored <strong>14 points at the rim</strong>, highlighting her strength and touch. As a freshman, she is only scratching the surface of her potential, and with continued development, she projects as a high-impact, two-way player for her program moving forward.</p>

As a freshman guard, Fanning is part of a promising young core for the Male (KY) girls basketball program and projects as a dependable two-way piece moving forward.</p>

The team showed resilience throughout the game, responding to an early deficit with a strong second-quarter run that forced <strong>Male (KY)</strong> to call a timeout. Despite their fight and energy, River Rouge was unable to take the lead, ultimately falling <strong>61-45</strong>.
