She Got Game Classic (DC): Shooters from Beyond the Arc

She Got Game Classic in Washington DC had over 200 of the best teams on the east coast in attendance. There were also numerous international teams that were being represented. There was no shortage of talent anywhere. That was obvious when you walked into the state-of-the-art facility with ten basketball courts and there were at least five college coaches on every court. Some courts had baselines packed with high level college coaches evaluating and watching these young ladies compete.    Good shooter with excellent height on the perimeter. Gets better and more comfortable on the court every time I see her play. Played with great confidence and poise this past weekend. Showed she has Division I talent on her ability to catch and shoot and also knock down jumpers off the bounce. Excellent length on the defensive side and rebounding the ball.       A competitive guard with excellent court awareness and High IQ for the game. Mira plays on an extremely talented team, and she fits right in with her ability to shoot the basketball and get downhill when needed. She is a fierce defender and has a solid all-around game.     A James Madison University signee for the 2026 class displayed why she will be competing at the next level. She has DEEP range that goes several feet beyond the arc when shooting the ball. Nice release and form on her shot. Madeline can also handle the ball and defend the opposing guard. High IQ player that will fit JMU style of play.     Small forward that can score the basketball in multiple ways. She showcased her ability to shoot the three, one and two dribble pull ups and she used one on one faceup moves from the hi post area to beat defenders off the bounce. Madi is long and length on defense which causes issues for the other team because she makes it difficult to pass or shoot over. She also rebounds the ball well.       One of the purest shooters at the classic. Jazmeen shoots the ball beyond the arc at a high level. She has a quick shot and does not hesitate. She understands that is her role on the court and is always ready to pull the trigger and get her shot off. Stone shows she has confidence and belief in herself when it comes to knocking down shots.
