On a team filled with underclassmen, Wood continues to shine. The freshman shooting guard scored 12 points for No. 18 Clearview in a 45-36 setback to No. 10 Shawnee. Despite the loss, she helped fuel a comeback effort as the Pioneers overcame a 12-2 deficit after the first quarter to take a 20-19 lead into intermission. She knocked down two three-pointers in the second half and was key in the Pioneers' success throughout the contest.

A potential S.J. Player of the Year candidate, Alaba played her role as No. 3 Cherokee's offensive leader, helping the Chiefs cruise past Northern Burlington, 48-13. She was on point with accurate shots in the smaller role she had as she didn't play much in the second hald after the Chiefs built up a sizeable lead. Expect her to continue to excel as the Chiefs look to defend their South Jersey Group 4 title.
