St. Mary Invitational Tournament- Top Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From December 29th to 30th, St. Mary's Lady Tigers of Natchitoches, LA, graciously hosted their Invitational Tournament. The event saw participation from Minden High School, the Crimson Tide, Lakeview High School Lady Gators, Many High School Lady Tigers, Providence Classical Academy Lady Knights, North DeSoto High School Lady Griffins, Pleasant Hill High School Lady Eagles, Benton High School Lady Tigers, Ebarb High School Lady Rebels, and the St. Mary High School Lady Tigers. These two days were filled with considerable excitement and impressive plays on the hardwood court. All the young ladies demonstrated exceptional effort. Had a great showing over the past few days playing in St. Mary's invitational here recently, Brooklyn scoring and surpassing the 1,000 point club. Brooklyn is a very strong and athletic player who can score from all levels and plays strongly on both sides of the ball. P was handling the ball in, though ball pressure limited her turnovers, and playing hard on both sides of the ball. She can score from all levels on the floor, but she was shining the most in the St. Mary Invitational with her ball movement and assists that were leading to points. In Bailey's first game in the St. Mary's invitational, she was driving the lanes and scoring inside, knocking down deep shots and getting a few steals, and plenty of assists to her teammates. In her second game, Bailey was on fire, scoring a total of 30 points by the end of the game. Before these two games, Bailey knocked down seven 3s beyond the arc. Bailey is a threat from all levels and also a threat on defense, causing turnovers and steals. Standing at 6'2", Ava is notably taller than most of her teammates. She excels as a rim protector and shot blocker. Ava is also very effective at rebounding, securing challenging rebounds on both defense and offense. She primarily scores her points from inside the paint and through second-chance put-backs. Additionally, Ava possesses a commendable mid-range shot. Regan is recognized for her strong rebounding and defensive capabilities, and she demonstrates excellent footwork when posting up.
