757 Matchup: Manor Versus Granby

Ta'Nya Ricks got Granby on the board with a foul line pull-up for two. After a timeout, India Uzzle hit a corner three. [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb'] was able to answer with a nice assist to [player_tooltip player_id='1058478' first='Alanah' last='Jones'], who scored back-to-back layups. [player_tooltip player_id='964227' first='Makhia' last='Johnson'] hit a long-range shot to put Granby up three points. Ca'Asia Brown was able to knife through the lane with a nice euro step layup for two to tie the game. [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb'] continues to wreak havoc on the defensive end creating a steal and getting another layup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Leah Williams got the second quarter started with a 17-foot jumper and Jada Clark converted on an offensive put-back. Granny was able to break the press and Sienna Parker was able to convert on a lay-up. That was followed by two back-to-back tough lay-ups from Ta'Nya Ricks. After that the game got cold! Granby let Manor dribble 4 minutes off the clock in the second quarter then at the buzzer, [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb'] was able to hit a crossover three to end the frame with Manor up at the half 19 to 16.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Leah Williams got the first field goal of the quarter with a dribble drive layup. And after a miss shot, [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb'] was able to get a put-back to stretch the lead out for Manor and their largest lead of the game of nine points. India Uzzle was able to make a much-needed three-point shot from the corner for Granby to stop the bleeding. Two possessions later Ca'Asia Brown was able to get a steal and take it coast-to-coast for and one-layup! [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb'] continues to display her two-way all skills helping create another steal and getting an easy layup to stretch the lead to 14 points. [player_tooltip player_id='995750' first='Jha'ziya' last='Babb']'s ball defense was great getting another steal for an easy layup. The fourth quarter was just a dry spot for Granby.
