Additional 2029 Guards Helping to Build the Class

As the 2029 class continues to take shape, a growing group of freshman point guards is emerging as foundational pieces across Florida. These young guards are already setting the tone, controlling tempo, and taking on the responsibilities of a floor general at the varsity level. Their poise, competitiveness, and ability to impact games on both ends shows just how strong the 2029 class-foundation really is.    Kennedy Jeffries has been one of the most exciting freshmen guards in Florida this season. Averaging nearly 19 points per game, Jeffries plays with confidence and pace, consistently attacking defenses and making plays off the dribble. Jeffress has the uncanny ability to score in creative ways. She is a young guard who has “sauce” and substance to her game. She shoots the floater, connects on reverse layups, and scores from all angles on the court. Her ability to score while handling the responsibility of running a team stands out, especially at this early stage of her development. A true floor general who runs the offense with poise, knocks down the three, and delivers quality passes to teammates. Plays with a calm, composed demeanor while consistently bringing energy on both ends of the floor. Harris had good handles and quickness and consistently put pressure on the defense. The young guard stood out as a very talented Freshman guard. Harris has the ability to finish at the rim and makes tough conversions through physical play.     [player_tooltip player_id='1675739' first='Leighton' last='Dostie']  consistently impresses whenever she enters the game. She handles the ball well, moves with purpose, and shows a quick burst that allows her to operate effectively on the floor, delivers the ball on time, and she has a smooth shooting touch. Currently learning behind three upperclassmen, she's soaking up the game and continuing to grow. Her ability to change direction, play with pace, and knock down shots gives her real upside. Dostie will be an exciting young guard to watch as her role expands. She plays with composure, keeps her teammates involved, and shoots the ball with confidence. Todd attacks open gaps off the catch and is very efficient from the perimeter with a smooth looking jumper. Told competes on the defensive end, and is active in passing lanes while running the floor effectively. Her all-around impact gives Oakleaf a young leader on the floor who gets her own buckets but makes sure her teammates are involved.
