<p>The Broncos (now 13-2, 4-0 at home) entered averaging a scorching 65.5 points per game under head coach Devon Manning, and they flexed that firepower early. Valencia (11-5, 6-2 on the road) won the opening tip under coach Raymond Montoya, but Kirtland imposed their will immediately with relentless full-court pressure after makes and a suffocating extended 2-3 zone in the half-court.</p>

<p>The Jaguars tried to match the Broncos' energy with a 1-2-2 zone, but the Broncos' quick rotations and activity made everything difficult. Kirtland exploded out of the gate with an 11-0 run and led 14-3 after one quarter. By halftime, the margin was 30-11. The third quarter saw more of the same dominance, pushing the lead to 47-16 entering the fourth.</p>

<p>The Broncos led wire-to-wire in a true statement performance.</p>

Nocki poured in a game-high 19 points (15 in the first half) with 6 assists, while Tsingine-Yazzie added 9 points and 3 assists as the ideal complement. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1058917' first='Zoey' last='Benally'] was versatile and effective with 12 points at all three levels, and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1068199' first='Allyson' last='Tsosie'] drained catch-and-shoot threes for 9 points. The balanced attack showcased why Kirtland is one of the state's top teams.</p>
