Daniel is "long and athletic" which is the base, and yeah, I say it a lot for a reason. Factor in her DESIRE, which spoke volumes as she BATTLED for everything off the rim, and those are things I drop the #THROWBACK hashtag on because they can't be taught. Peep this, she elevates to rebound, score around the basket, and she blocks shots. Her defense was solid, and she also played the passing lane

Nunley is a "long and athletic" guard, and that, too, is the base. Her "on the ball" pressure immediately grabbed my attention as she brought heat off the top, both baseline to baseline as well as in the set, but she also did something I love seeing, played the passing lane. Her pull-up jumper looked good, as did her first step as she attacked and finished strongly off the dribble, even after the lick

Tadja is yet another "long and athletic" player who stood out. Watching her go AFTA the ball off the rim relentlessly was one thing, yet seeing her come from out of nowhere to block shots was another. Solid timing to go along with solid defense both in and outside the paint was good, and she scored both off the dribble and around the basket, putbacks included

Anayegbu falls into that #sizedontmatter group, and when you can play, it doesn't matter. She seemed to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time to cause havoc and help create turnovers, yet her baseline-to-baseline pressure had a similar effect, as she forced turnovers. She also set the defender up nicely to attack. The first step was a problem, and so was her body control on her finishes

Wheatley recently went over the 1000-point plateau in her career, and she showed she could score in a variety of ways. Technically, she's not a NEW FACE as I caught her once before at the Super 64 back in 2024 see evaluation here, yet her poise under pressure, as well as her court vision, looked good, and her "stop and pop" jumper was definitely a problem. Yeah, she played tough defense and let me drop #THROWBACK for her diving on the floor for loose balls
