Prep Girls Hoops Missouri watched the eight teams who are participating in the Clopton Tournament this week. Here is a look at some New Names of Class of 2029 prospects who caught our attention at the tournament. There were some very impressive kiddos who played very well at the Clopton Tournament.

Bailey Land (Clopton): A 6'2 forward who is an impressive young post player with a bright future. She uses her height to her advantage as she keeps the ball high on the catch or offensive rebound to score. She also uses her length wall off opposing offensive players and block shots. She has good mobility and she also makes her free throws, which is a big advantage as a post player. She is going to be a problem at Class 2 for the next three years after this season.

Emmie Nikodym (Duchesne): A 6'0" forward who is having a very productive first season of varsity basketball. She had 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in the Pioneers victory over Silex in the opening round of the tournament. She has good length and timing to block shots at the top without fouling. She scores well around the basket but she also is versatile enough to handle the ball and make a perimeter shot. She runs the court well and is very fluid in her movements on the court.

Madison Lickteig (Silex): A young point guard who has a very nice feel for the game. She has good poise to go along with her skill set on the court. I like her defensive instincts as she rotates from the weakside to get steals and deflections. She can be tenacious and she is a ball hawk. She handles the offense well with decision making and she can hit pull up jumpers and also dial it up from 3-point range.

Beau Beauchamp (Clopton): A talented point guard who has good quickness and speed, which she utilizes well in the open court. She also has a high basketball IQ. She was looking to make the lead pass upcourt to get an advantage for her team. She also hits the open perimeter shot. She is good enough at the point, that the Hawks can sometimes move standout point guard [player_tooltip player_id='885181' first='Charleigh' last='Spoonster'] off the ball so she can look to score. She also moves her feet on defense with her on-ball pressure.

Addie Blaise (Duchesne): A 6'0" forward who had some impressive moments in the game that I watched against Louisiana in the semifinals. On her first touch, she scored on a nice baseline drive where she scored off the glass. She also made an excellent move from the high post where she scored with her opposite hand on the scoop. She rebounds the ball and she runs the court well. She also catches the ball well in traffic.

Elin Gladney (Elsberry): The young guard came up big in the Indians overtime victory over Silex in the fifth place game. She scored eight points, but she had six of her team's eight points in the overtime. She made all of her free throws and made a big steal. She also played a solid overall floor game.

Brooklyn Hall (Troy JV): A young combo guard who did a nice job in the first round against top-seeded Clopton. She scored eight points and showed a nice perimeter stroke from 3-point range. She is a solid ball handler who also moved without the ball within the team's offense.
