Here are five players across the state creating some buzz.

[player_tooltip player_id='952625' first='Peyton' last='Warner'], Lone Peak

Warner has quickly become a key player for Lone Peak, generating excitement for both herself and the team. Her performance on the court has been instrumental in propelling Lone Peak towards success. In a recent game against Lehi, she achieved a season-high with an impressive 27 points. What sets Warner apart is her versatile skillset. She combines strong driving abilities with accurate shooting, making her a challenging opponent. Furthermore, her left-handed shooting adds another layer of difficulty for defenders, forcing them to adjust their strategies. In the previous game against Skyridge, she contributed 22 points in a winning effort, demonstrating her growing maturity and skill as a freshman.

Kate Wilard, Davis

Willard is quietly putting together an awe-inspiring run in the past few games, as she has not only been lighting up the scoresheet but also helping her team get off to a great second-half surge. Willard brings a high motor and a soft touch around the rim, and as a dual-sport athlete, you can see that her motor is always on. In her last seven games, she has been virtually unstoppable and has also been dominating on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1293054' first='Maylee' last='Higley'], Bear River

The 5'9" freshman has been a bright spot for the Bear River team. They can rely on her now, and expect even more from her as she gains experience and confidence. Higley has been shooting the ball extremely well and could be among the best shooting freshmen in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='790536' first='Kya' last='Newton'], Olympus

Newton has found new life at Olympus, becoming an unreal force for the team. She is a relentless player who constantly pressures the defense with her aggressive style. Newton possesses the ability to score from anywhere on the court and can convert defensive possessions into offensive opportunities. Averaging over 25 points per game in her last five contests, she is already in a small, elite category.

[player_tooltip player_id='1661111' first='Jade' last='Kulpa'], Weber

The 5'6 Junior has had a string of games that have actually been huge, and none bigger than her 25+ point game against Syracuse. Kulpa is a new name that could easily make a mark in the rankings if she can continue to play at a high level. She does it with defense and getting into the paint.
