There were some impressive young players on display at the tournament. Here is a look at some of those talented Class of 2028 and 2029 players that we watched at Salisbury.

2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1225239' first='Ella' last='Moseley'] (Marceline): A 6'0" forward who was one of the most impressive athletes that I watched in the tournament. She runs the floor very well which enabled her to excel in the transition game. She has a nice shooting touch around the basket and she can also hit the open 3-pointer.

Elly Jaecques (Cairo): A 5'9" forward who has a strong physical presence in the lane. She used her strength to establish good position inside and she could not be moved. She catches the ball well and scores on power moves. She also rebounds the ball very well at both ends of the court. She can also step out and hit a perimeter shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1243101' first='Ainsleigh' last='Truitt'] (South Shelby): A 5'8" guard who has length and athleticism along with some impressive offensive skills. On her first touch upon entering the game, she penetrated into the lane and dropped a nice dime to a teammate for an easy layup. She can also knock down the open 3-pointer.

Emerald Bloss (Marceline): A young shooting guard who is not very tall, but she plays much taller than her height because of her effort and toughness. She gets downhill on the drive and she also cuts well off the ball. She gets two feet in the lane off the jump stop and makes good use of shot fakes inside. She also gets her share of rebounds.

LeAnna Haslett (Marceline): A 5'9" forward who did a solid job coming off the bench. She was rebounding well on the offensive end and she had an impressive baby hook over the left shoulder.

Gracynn Lanpher (South Shelby): A 5'9" shooting guard who scored 11 points in the fifth-place game against Paris. She is a good athlete who showed the ability to grab a rebound and go coast to coast for a layup. She can drive it from either direction to get a bucket and she excels on the defensive end.

******

2029

[player_tooltip player_id='1243476' first='Tinley' last='Jaecques'] (Cairo): A 5'3" point guard who has good quickness and a nice feel for the game. She distributes the ball well and she does a good job of feeding it into the low post. She can also hit the open 3-pointer to keep the defense honest. She has good anticipation on defense to jump a passing lane to get a steal.

Gentry Burns (Marceline): A 6'0" forward who has a versatile skill set in the paint and on the perimeter. She has good footwork and body control in the low post. She made a nice turnaround jumper off the glass. She also handles the ball well in the open court. She dropped a nice dime in transition which led to a layup for a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1243477' first='Eva' last='Jaecques'] (Cairo): A 5'6" shooting guard who came off the bench to provide instant offense. She has excellent shooting range from beyond the 3-point line. She also has a short memory. She missed a 3-point shot, but got the ball right back off an offensive rebound and drained the triple. She also has good athleticism to go with her sharpshooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='1307513' first='Hailey' last='Morgan'] (Paris): A 5'8 shooting guard who came off the bench to score eight points in the victory over South Shelby in the fifth place game. She showed a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range as she knocked down a pair of triples against the zone defense.

Paisley Goring (Cairo): A 5'10" forward who came off the bench and did some very positive things. She catches the ball well and scores in the post. She also passed it well from the high post area. She is a good athlete who runs the court very well.
