[player_tooltip player_id='964973' first='Ava' last='Reed'] has been her usual self this Winter so far for Scottsbluff High School prior to take off to compete at Concordia following her Senior season. Reed is a hooper that we discovered late in her career. When we first saw her last year, she didn't have a lot of interest from the next level and that didn't really make any sense. She is a 5'11 PG, that can score from all three offensive levels while also being able to run her team's offensive system. She can defend her position, as well as multiple others because of her mixture of length and athletic ability. As you might be able to tell, Reed can play and I wouldn't be shocked if she saw the floor right away at college. Even if they do return a really impressive roster in total.

[player_tooltip player_id='882862' first='Alivia' last='Kuhn'] has been a handful for everyone on the offensive end this Winter. Kuhn is light the nights up with her natural ability to put the ball in the bucket. She is simply taking what the defense has been giving her, scoring off the catch and shot when she has space or at the bucket after a smooth down-hill drive. Kuhn is a college level player, she is just younger in her career right now. She will be someone that I'm sure receives interest from the high D2/low D1 level at the end of the day. Until then, she just needs to keep on building on her weaknesses.

Bridgeport is one of those programs that will always be dominant up until the State Tournament with their level of competition and their personal on roster. Their leader is 2027 - [player_tooltip player_id='736457' first='Olivia' last='Brown'] and Brown has been keeping the ship steady so far throughout this season at the Guard spot. She is not only scoring when needed, she is making hustle plays and those plays are leading to production in the form of assists, rebounds, steals, and indirect opportunities for the those around her. I expect Brown to be another player making it to the college level one day. She will probably have to start off small and transfer after a year or two, if she wants to end up at a bigger place but the ability side of things is definitely there.

[player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] has really taken over and solidified herself as the best player on the Bennington team at this moment in time from the play she is producing so far this Winter. Reiner is a D1 level PG. She moves effortlessly with the ball in her hands and she makes those around her better with how she carries herself. She is someone that can adapt in a small amount of time and she never seems to be frustrated or frazzled. Instead, she plays her game and understands that her best WILL be good enough against her competition. All in all, Reiner should be proud at what she is doing. Proud, but not satisfied.

Lincoln North Star has positioned themselves to be in a favorable spot moving into the Playoffs in a month or two and a major reason for that is because of the play of [player_tooltip player_id='756006' first='Ani' last='Leu']. The UNO commit is playing her game and showing how good she is this Winter at a steady rate. She is demonstrating that she is the real deal with her size and within the right situations, she is tough to stop when you only bring one defender to stick in front of her. LNS should make and win their Classes State Title in the near future and Leu should be in the conversation for MVP as long as she plays to her full capabilities.
