She keeps space in the half-court offense and has a quick first step. She is really good at ripping the ball baseline for finishes at the rim and drift-passes to the opposite corner. She is an excellent defender. She gets down in stance and is good at jumping to the ball to get into correct positions. Avery is one of two juniors and only three upperclassmen on a young Titans team. She is someone Coach Chantel Luna will be looking at to steady the storm during opposing team's scoring runs. Avery is an above average athlete with good height for a guard. She is absolutely fearless attacking the basket. She is able to get downhill to her strong hand and get to the free-throw line. She has the ability to stretch the floor from deep and is doing a good job of adjusting her to her knew role as a primary piece for TGU. Midway has a good center in Emery. She has a great frame for a post and is difficult to move once she finds position by the basket. She is more mobile than you'd expect. She is a relentless rebounder and crashes the glass hard. She keeps a ton of possessions alive due to her effort on the boards. She plugs up the lane in their half-court zone and moves well on the pass. Emery is a potential All-District talent. Anderson is a quality guard for Midway/Minto.  They are in a bit of a rebuild and players like Anderson ease some of the troubles with an inexperienced squad.  She plays hard and has great defensive fundamentals.  She does a good job of getting into a low stance with active hands.  She is a true hustler and seems to have a knack for winning every 50/50 ball she gets her hands on. Bismarck State College should be all over a player like Katie. She is tall, long, athletic, and has a lot of room to grow. She could be an absolute stud and is already showing signs of how good she can be with some stellar performances this season. She runs really well for her size and could be an absolute menace defensively with time. She seals well and rebounds well, particularly on the offensive end. She keeps offensive rebounds high and puts misses back in with ease. The ceiling is high for this Skyhawk. Keller is a new student in Hazen and has made an immediate positive impact on their team.  She is a very tough player, currently playing through a torn ligament in her ankle that won't be repaired until after the season concludes.  She is a nice spark of offense, averaging 7.5 points per game through the first handful of games.  She can go off at any given moment, with a season high of 20 points against New Town.  Emaley has a sweet looking shot with a quick release.  She can stretch the floor from deep and is deadly as soon as she crosses half court. I like how Dutke brings the juice to the floor whenever she plays.  She is an athletic 5'9 who can defend and shoot the ball.  She is shooting a good percentage from the three and isn't afraid to knock down big shots.  She runs the floor hard and does a good job of using her long arms to be disruptive defensively.  Dutke is just scratching the surface of her basketball ability.  She will be a very solid high school basketball player with some time and effort this season and upcoming summer.
