Dutke is a Maverick that has been grinding it out through a rebuild in her program. She is a serviceable athlete on the floor and one of faster girls I saw this weekend. She gets up the floor in a hurry and runs the lanes high and wide. She has good length and reach which helps her play solid defense. She gets in stance and doesn’t make many defensive mistakes. Emily shines from the three-point line. Last season she shot over 34% from behind the arc. Dickinson is going to need her shooting next season to compete in the always tough WDA.

I like how Dutke brings the juice to the floor whenever she plays. She is an athletic 5’9 who can defend and shoot the ball. She is shooting a good percentage from the three and isn’t afraid to knock down big shots. She runs the floor hard and does a good job of using her long arms to be disruptive defensively. Dutke is just scratching the surface of her basketball ability. She will be a very solid high school basketball player with some time and effort this season and upcoming summer.
