Don't let her being 5'3" fool you, this girl can GO! She doesn't let her size get in the way of her abilities, going toe-to-toe with bigger guards and using blazing speed to her advantage. She takes command of the floor and has executed beautifully in some big games this season; 13 points & 4 assists vs Gill and 7 points & 5 assists vs Jackson Reed (MD). She knows when to pull it and when to dish it out, showing off the IQ necessary to run the point effectively. The senior is having her best season since freshman year!

[player_tooltip player_id='865670' first='Alia' last='Johnson'] | Montgomery

Alia's combo skills as a scorer and facilitator has kept the Cougars competitive in the Raritan division. A career-high 10 assists vs Phillipsburg just two games into the season was part of a triple-double performance, the first of her career. She's established herself as a double-figure threat in scoring and dishing on any given night, with notable performances against Hopewell Valley (8 points & 7 assists), Princeton (12 points & 6 assists) and Ridge (11 points & 7 assists). Her poise rallying her teammates has been crucial in close wins over Bridgewater-Raritan, Woodbridge and Ridge, winning those three games by a combined 7 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1041811' first='Marlee' last='Ceglia'] | North Hunterdon

Marlee sets the tone with her vision and 3-point shooting, leading the Lions this season in triples (18) and assists (35), proving she can do both quite effectively. She recognizes the several scoring options on this team and gets everyone involved, reading the defense and moving the ball really well. She doesn't stay stuck in one spot for too long or get overly rattled by pressure. Averaging 7.4 PPG & 1.9 APG, her efforts helped swing momentum in narrow wins against Steinert, Warren Hills and Voorhees.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566758' first='Peytan' last='Pugh'] | Bound Brook

Peytan needs a lot more media coverage for her extraordinary efforts this season. One of the most dynamic point guards in the state as just a freshman, she's put together a jaw-dropping rookie campaign. Twelve double-doubles and a triple-double on her resume in just twenty-one games, she's getting it done in a major way against some top tier competition. She has fueled the Crusaders to an undefeated 8-0 run in the Mountain division averaging 15.6 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 6.7 APG & 8.9 SPG. She dictates play and controls the back court, making everyone around her better.

[player_tooltip player_id='651498' first='Melina' last='Miller'] | Gill St. Bernard's

With so many offensive weapons at her disposal, Melina has dished out dimes at a furious pace. At nearly 6.0 APG, she executes at a high level and gets the ball exactly where it needs to be. Excellent passing with strong, poised leadership has orchestrated the offense and tallied a career-high 12 assists vs St. Thomas Aquinas. She's also GSB's third scoring option at 8.3 PPG, chipping in important points in narrow victories over Franklin (12 points), Immaculate Hear (12 points), Pingry (8 points) and Virginia Academy (11 points).
