[player_tooltip player_id='1137259' first='Brianna' last='Iannuzzi'] led her team to a pair of big wins last week. Against Lake George, Iannuzzi scored 17 points, collected eight rebounds, and dished out four assists. In a Patroon League game against Cobleskill-Richmondville, Iannuzzi fired in 26 points on seven 3-pointers. She also contributed seven rebounds and handed out three assists. Iannuzzi is a lethal shooter from behind the arc. She can knock down 3-pointers off the dribble or the catch. In this game, with her team holding a narrow lead in the final seconds, she nailed a stepback from the top of the key to seal the deal, showing she is not afraid of the big moment. Iannuzzi also handles the ball and sees the floor well. She is a solid, scrappy defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='863721' first='Hayden' last='Wolfe'] has been a steady offensive performer all season for RCS, but this week may have been her best. Wolfe began the week with a dominating effort against Mohonasen. Wolfe poured in 29 points and pulled down nine boards. Wolfe then scored 19 points and collected 22 rebounds against Lansingburgh. She closed out the week with 12 points and 17 boards against Schalmont. Wolfe is a strong player in the post. She is a physical presence who can muscle defenders down low. Wolfe also handles the ball well for a power forward and can step out and hit the mid-range and 3-point jumper. She is an outstanding rebounder and a fierce defender.

Paige Taylor had another outstanding week for Granville as she continues to gain recognition in her final season. Taylor combined for 51 points in two wins for her team over Ticonderoga. She scored 15 of her team's 25 total points against Corinth. Taylor has improved her confidence level tremendously over the season. She has unlimited range behind the arc, can get to the basket with ease, and hit the short baseline jumper. Taylor is a very aggressive, physical defender and a solid rebounder.

As a junior point guard, Chloe Popa fills up the stat sheet every night, whether she has a big scoring performance or not. Last week, Popa scored 13 points, pulled down nine boards, recorded six steals, and handed out an assist in a loss to Mayfield. In a win over North Warren, Popa scored 16 points, 12 from behind the arc. She also had six steals, three rebounds, and an assist. Popa is an excellent 3-point shooter and knows how to beat defenders off the dribble and finish. She is a fierce defender and rebounds extremely well for her size.

Just a sophomore, Ava Cormie continued to put up productive numbers for Argyle. She is quickly becoming one of the top players in the Border Region. Last week, Cormie poured in 25 points in a win over Salem. Earlier in the week, she scored 22 points in a win over Bishop Gibbons. Cormie scored in a variety of ways, scoring on 3-pointers, drives to the basket, from the foul line, and in transition.
