<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the district playoffs set to begin for small schools, Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of talented under the radar players who have led their teams to No. 1 seeds in the upcoming Class 3 district tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1203955' first='Myia' last='Dillman'] (Mid Buchanan): The 5'7" 2027 guard has been at the center of a whole lot of winning at Mid-Buch over the past two seasons. She is a very capable scoring threat who can also handle the ball and play a solid floor game. After helping the Lady Dragons to the Class 3 state quarterfinals last season, Dillman and Mid Buch are the No. 1 seed in District 15 next week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lexi Hunter (South Harrison): A 2026 guard who is one of the top backcourt players in the NWMO area. She has led South Harrison to a 17-7 record and a No. 1 seed in District 15. She is an excellent two-way player with good speed. She can really shoot it from long distance, but she is also a good playmaker who can also defend. She is able to impact the game in a variety of ways.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1219295' first='Ivy' last='Benson'] (Twin Rivers): A 2028 forward who is talented young player in the SEMO area. She is a matchup problem with her height and versatile skill set on the perimeter. She can handle the ball and stretch the floor from 3-point range. She can also score inside and play interior defense. She's helped lead Twin Rivers to a top seed in District 1.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1047485' first='Ryleigh' last='Davis'] (Thayer): A 5'7" 2028 guard who is a excellent young talent in the SWMO area. In addition to leading the Bobcats to a top seed in District 9, she led them to the South Central Association championship. She is a talented bucket-getter who can score from anywhere, but her shooting range is deep. She has enjoyed some big scoring nights this season. She also plays a strong all-around game with her playmaking and ball handling ability.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1225242' first='Zoriah' last='Goolsby'] (Lutheran North, Pictured): A 5'0" 2028 point guard who is a little dynamo with her speed and quickness. She leads the Crusaders to a No. 1 seed in the District 4 tournament. She excels in the open court and she is capable of creating her own shot off the dribble. She enters the postseason averaging about 15 points a game to lead the Crusaders.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='460895' first='Addy' last='Abell'] (Highland): The 5'7" 2026 guard is one of the top players in the very good Clarence Cannon Conference. Her main sport is softball as she will be playing at UMSL next season, but she has enjoyed an excellent career on the basketball court. She recently scored her 1,000th point this season. She is primary scorer, but she also has a good feel for the game and a high basketball IQ. She leads Highland to a No. 1 seed in District 6.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mia Rowland (Stover): A 5'6" 2026 guard who excels on the basketball court and on the links as well. She will be headed to Western Illinois to play golf next year. On the basketball court, she is a talented perimeter shooter who has had several game where she's made multiple 3-pointers.
