Winnfield Lady Tigers – Defend the Den

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On February 13th, 2026, the Winnfield High School Lady Tigers hosted the Many High School Lady Tigers in a district matchup. It was Senior Night for the Winnfield Lady Tigers, as they honored all their basketball players from the class of 2026. The game commenced at 6 PM. At tip-off, the Many Lady Tigers secured possession of the ball. In the first quarter, the Many Lady Tigers outscored the Winnfield Lady Tigers by 9 points, with the score being Winnfield 8, Many 17. During the second quarter, the Many Tigers began to extend their lead, outscoring the Winnfield Lady Tigers by 13 points, bringing the score to Winnfield 16, Many 29. In the third quarter, the Winnfield Lady Tigers applied significant pressure and took control of the game, managing to tie the score at Winnfield 38, Many 38. In the final quarter of the game, both teams fiercely competed for the win until the very last second. With only 0.05 seconds remaining, point guard [player_tooltip player_id='980297' first='Paris' last='Palacio'] took a shot that unfortunately rolled out of the rim, resulting in a heartbreaking loss for the Winnfield Lady Tigers. Starks demonstrates excellent court vision and is a skilled ball handler.
