Another Class 4A State Tournament classic is in the books. Hopkins has been on both sides of the thrill of victory and the sting of defeat, and this year was no different. In another unforgettable finish, our Prep Girls Hoops Most Valuable Player and Minnesota Gopher commit [player_tooltip player_id='578467' first='Amisha' last='Ramlall'] and her Rosemount Irish teammates stunned the crowd with a 64-63 win in the nightcap at Williams Arena. Rosemount showed toughness and belief all night, making the plays they needed down the stretch. Below, we present our MVP along with the full All-Tournament teams from an incredible week of basketball at state.

FIRST TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='578467' first='Amisha' last='Ramlall'] – 2027 guard, Rosemount (University of Minnesota)

What a storybook ending to an incredible season. Rosemount came in as the underdog, but Ramlall and her teammates never bought into that talk. The Gopher commit, known for her scoring, showed just how complete her game really is. All tournament long, teams sold out to slow her down, and each time she made the right read. She found cutters for easy buckets, kept the ball moving, and made defenses pay when they overcommitted. That opened the door for her to get going as a scorer too. On the other end, she set the tone with Rosemount's quarter-court press, helping slow Hopkins and create deflections that turned into easy points. Averaging 20 points and 5 assists per game for the tournament, Ramlall was steady, under control, and shined on the same floor she'll call home at Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id='630245' first='Gianna' last='Carpentier'] – 2027 guard, Rosemount

There were plenty of big shots during the tournament, but none bigger than the three Carpentier hit to tie the championship game at 60. It was one of the key moments of the night. Her impact went far beyond that shot. Throughout the game she made timely cuts, battled on the glass, and played with a level of toughness that stood out. Carpentier finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists against Rochester Mayo, one of the strongest all-around efforts of the tournament. Her move from Farmington proved to be the missing piece, giving Rosemount another steady presence who delivered when the lights were the brightest.

[player_tooltip player_id='716527' first='Ashna' last='Ramlall'] – 2028 guard, Rosemount

With one of the purest shots around, the lefty plays with no fear, which showed up in some of the biggest moments of the tournament. She has range well beyond the arc, but against Hopkins she also attacked the paint, using their pressure to create tough finishes and find cutting teammates. In two straight games she grabbed a missed free throw from her big sister at a key moment. The biggest came in the title game, where her rebound and putback helped swing the momentum late. Averaging 17 points and 6 rebounds from the guard spot, she showed just how much of an impact she makes.

[player_tooltip player_id='659130' first='Jaliyah' last='Diggs'] – 2027 guard, Hopkins

Diggs, even at her size, was the most dominant player on the floor for much of the tournament. In the championship game, she showed why. She scored from all three levels and finished through contact against bigger defenders. In the first half, she helped spark a 15-0 run that turned an 11-point deficit into a four-point lead. When the defense collapsed, she found open teammates for easy looks. Diggs averaged 20 points and 8.5 rebounds for the tournament. The Royals fell short, but with Diggs leading the charge, you can expect Hopkins to be right back in the mix next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='558627' first='Erma' last='Walker'] – 2027 forward, Hopkins

Not enough can be said about how physically dominant Walker is. You can see the will of opponents start to wear down with how relentless she is in the paint. That was the case again during the three tournament games where she averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds. Walker carved out space, finished through contact, and controlled the glass on both ends. Against Rosemount, when the lane got crowded and clean catches were tough, she showed a nice mid-range touch to keep the defense honest. Her strength and motor make her tough to deal with, and it will be fun to see what she adds to her game next season.

SECOND TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='806429' first='Amelia' last='Mills'] – 2028 guard, Rochestor Mayo

Stitches and all, Mills left a strong impression on anyone who didn't know her before the State Tournament. Playing in Rochester, she doesn't always get the same level of attention as the Metro players, but her game stood out right away. Mills is one of the best shooters in her class and showed it all week. She averaged 22 points over three games while shooting lights out from deep, and also attacked the rim with a polished layup package. The 2028 standout is just getting started.

[player_tooltip player_id='908260' first='Maggie' last='Dyer'] – 2028 guard, Rochestor Mayo

Dyer, another highly ranked 2028 prospect, put together a strong showing during the State Tournament, scoring both inside and out. In the quarterfinal against Monticello, she helped keep the Spartans close with an efficient first half, going 5-7 from the field. She followed that up with a great performance in the consolation final, finishing 6-9 from the field, 7-7 at the line, 2-4 from three, and adding 7 rebounds. Dyer has a natural feel for the game and stays patient, letting the game come to her. The future at Rochester Mayo looks bright.

[player_tooltip player_id='515676' first='Samantha' last='Voll'] – 2026 guard, Monticello (St.Thomas)

Voll, the hometown St. Thomas commit, did everything she could to keep Monticello within reach in the state opener. Drawing heavy attention from the defense, she started slow but took over in the second half. Voll finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists in a tough two-point loss to Rochester Mayo. She closed her high school career in style with a 34-point performance in the consolation final, leading Monticello to a 70-52 win over Blaine. What a career it has been, and it will be exciting to see what she does next at St. Thomas.

[player_tooltip player_id='1418505' first='Marianna' last='Davis'] – 2030 forward, Hopkins

Only an 8th grader, Davis has already put the state on notice. She opened the tournament with a strong 22-point performance, leading all scorers and showing the confidence of a much older player. Throughout the week she kept possessions alive by crashing the glass and used her length to alter shots on the defensive end. Her mix of height, quickness, and feel makes her a tough matchup. If this is the starting point, Hopkins will be even tougher next season with a more experienced Davis in tow.

[player_tooltip player_id='656331' first='Isla' last='Silk'] – 2027 forward, Rosemount

Silk delivered two of the biggest plays of the tournament, both within seconds. With her team up one, she grabbed a key offensive rebound to give them another possession and earned a trip to the line. She missed the front end, but made up for it right away. On the next play, she blocked [player_tooltip player_id='659130' first='Jaliyah' last='Diggs']' three-point attempt to seal the first state title for the Irish. Her impact went well beyond that moment. Silk consistently slipped behind the defense for backdoor layups and battled on the glass, helping limit Hopkins' second chances.

HONORABLE MENTION

[player_tooltip player_id='344332' first='Kate' last='Holmquist'] – 2026 guard, Maple Grove (Montana)

[player_tooltip player_id='589275' first='Sophia' last='Anderson'] –, 2026 guard, Maple Grove (Augustana)

[player_tooltip player_id='763004' first='Lyla' last='Hentges'] – 2027 guard, Chanhassen (University of St.Thomas)

[player_tooltip player_id='676690' first='Abby' last='Ruda'] – 2026 forward, Monticello (Concordia-St.Paul)

Vienna Murray – 2026 guard, East Ridge (Oklahoma)
