PGHNJ has just released its final rankings for the senior class. This new-look Top 10 is absolutely stacked with talent, all representing private schools. Let's dive in for a further look:

[player_tooltip player_id='559085' first='Addison' last='Nyemchek'] | Red Bank Catholic

New Rank: #1 | Previous Rank: #1

Addy was head and shoulders above the rest this season. Dubbed Player of the Year by every publication, she averaged 19.8 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.4 BPG & 3.0 SPG, making her the most complete player in the state. Her elite all-around game led the Caseys to a 30-2 record and Non-Public A state championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='559039' first='Madison' last='Kocis'] | St. John Vianney

New Rank: #2 | Previous Rank: #4

Madison had the best year of her high school career, with highs in points, assists and 3-pointers. The sharpshooter averaged 13.2 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 2.4 APG & 1.4 SPG and led SJV to an undefeated run at the KSA Holiday Tournament and a Finals appearance in both the Shore Conference Tourney and South Jersey, Non-Public A sectionals. She dazzled against nationally ranked opponents and forced the defense to work overtime in hopes to contain her. Her lethal 3-point jumper was complete with one of the quickest releases around.

[player_tooltip player_id='601413' first='Jahzara' last='Green'] | Gloucester Catholic

New Rank: #3 | Previous Rank: #7

Z fought through double and triple teams all season, still managing to drop nine 20+ point games and countless double-doubles. Her team-best 15.7 PPG led the Rams to their first state title since 1983, dispatching some of NJ's top teams along the way. She goes down in program history as one of the best to ever play.

[player_tooltip player_id='559037' first='Taylor' last='Sofilkanich'] | St. John Vianney

New Rank: #4 | Previous Rank: #5

Taylor upped her production in Year 4, anchoring SJV inside and leading them to a national championship at The Throne. The 6'4" Duke commit averaged 13.3 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 1.1 APG & 2.7 BPG, eclipsing 1,000 career points along the way. Few opponents had an answer for her post dominance, despite throwing double and triple teams at her.

[player_tooltip player_id='559046' first='Ava' last='LaMonica'] | Rutgers Prep

New Rank: #5 | Previous Rank: #3

Ava leaves quite the legacy at Rutgers Prep, with two sectional chips and 1,000+ points in her bag. One of the greatest to ever don the Argo uniform, she was flat-out ferocious this year. One of the strongest guards in the state, she battled through an incredible amount of contact time and time again, still able to finish at the rim. Ava averaged 12.1 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 2.1 APG & 1.7 SPG while playing against some of the top teams in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='559135' first='Stella' last='Lockhart'] | St. John Vianney

New Rank: #6 | Previous Rank: #2

There might not have been a more physical player in the state these past four years. Stella meant business every time she took the court and backed down from no one! A very versatile, almost positionless game, made for season averages of 11.1 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.1 APG & 1.1 SPG. She shined the brightest against the most difficult competition on the schedule, with 22 points vs St. John's (DC) and Ontario Christian (CA).

[player_tooltip player_id='559820' first='Addy' last='Platt'] | Gill St. Bernard's

New Rank: #7 | Previous Rank: #9

Addy put the Knights on her back this season and led them to a sectional chip and a state finals appearance, all while leading the way in points, rebounds, blocks and steals. Season averages of 19.8 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 3.4 APG, 2.3 BPG & 4.1 SPG boosted her stock and helped GSB to 22 wins.

[player_tooltip player_id='601267' first='Mia' last='Washington'] | Pope John

New Rank: #8 | Previous Rank: #6

Mia led her team in points and rebounds while helping them to a 19-win season and a postseason appearance. Her length and skillset wreaked havoc for defenders as she tallied five double-doubles, and three 30+ point games, including a career-high 40 points vs Belvidere. With 1,685 points on her resume, she'll go down as one of the greatest to ever play at Pope John.

[player_tooltip player_id='601341' first='Sophia' last='Georgiades'] | Rutgers Prep

New Rank: #9 | Previous Rank: #8

Sophia transferred to Prep two years ago to boost her stock. Well, mission accomplished! She was an integral piece to their success this season, averaging 9.4 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 1.3 APG & 1.2 SPG. She was their best 3-point shooter [with 36 triples made] and ranked third overall in scoring. A strong two-way game helped the Argos achieve a 25-4 record while playing elite competition from the Tri-State Area and beyond.

[player_tooltip player_id='601275' first='Rachel' last='Thatcher'] | Paul VI

New Rank: #10 | Previous Rank: #45

One of the biggest stock risers in this update, Rachel sees a 35-spot ascension because of a breakout senior season with the Eagles. She doubled her production in just about every statistical category from last season en-route to averages of 12.7 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 5.2 APG & 2.4 SPG. She helped guide her team to SJIBT & CCT chips, a quarterfinal showing in the postseason and a 26-2 record. One of the savviest guards in this class, Rachel proved that she's always up for the challenge, no matter the opponent!
