Championship Game

Cle Elum Warriors def. Reardan Screaming Eagles 49-43

Cle Elum secured the 2B state championship with a hard-fought 49-43 win over Reardan. The game remained tight throughout, featuring eight lead changes and seven ties as both teams battled for control. Cle Elum gained separation in the second half by limiting Reardan's shooting efficiency while maintaining an advantage on the glass with a 43-36 rebounding edge. The Warriors also capitalized at the free throw line, converting 12 free throws compared to six for Reardan. Those extra scoring opportunities helped Cle Elum maintain the lead down the stretch.

3rd/5th Place Game

Northwest Christian (Colbert) Crusaders def. Toutle Lake Ducks 76-51

Northwest Christian delivered one of the most dominant performances of the day with a 76-51 victory over Toutle Lake. After a competitive first half, the Crusaders broke the game open with a 20-point third quarter and continued to build the lead from there. Northwest Christian shot nearly 58 percent from the field and controlled the boards with a 39-20 rebounding advantage. The Crusaders also generated 44 points in the paint, consistently attacking inside. That offensive efficiency allowed Northwest Christian to pull away in the second half.

4th/6th Place Game

Napavine Tigers def. Davenport Gorillas 62-61 (OT)

Napavine closed its tournament run with a dramatic overtime win over Davenport in one of the most competitive games of the day. The contest featured 15 lead changes as both teams traded scoring runs throughout the game. Davenport built an early lead, but Napavine responded with a strong second half that included improved perimeter shooting and efficient free throw scoring. In overtime, Napavine found the final edge to secure the one-point victory. In a game defined by small margins, execution in the final possessions made the difference.

Impact Players from the Round

Glondo led Cle Elum with 22 points and provided the offensive spark the Warriors needed to secure the championship. She knocked down four three-pointers and consistently created scoring opportunities throughout the game. Glondo also contributed eight rebounds, helping Cle Elum maintain its advantage on the boards. Her ability to stretch the defense with perimeter shooting opened space for the Warriors' offense. In a close championship game, that scoring presence proved decisive.

Waters delivered a strong all-around performance for Reardan, finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. She consistently attacked the basket and helped the Screaming Eagles generate offense during key stretches. Waters also created extra possessions on the glass and contributed defensively with steals. Her effort helped keep Reardan within striking distance throughout the contest. Even in defeat, her impact on both ends of the floor stood out.

Pope delivered one of the most dominant performances of championship day, finishing with 41 points on an efficient 17-of-25 shooting night. She scored at all three levels, including four three-pointers and key free throws. Pope also added seven rebounds and three assists while controlling the pace of the offense. Her ability to consistently create scoring opportunities fueled Northwest Christian's offensive surge. Performances like that can completely shift the momentum of a tournament game.

Dean led Toutle Lake with 20 points while knocking down four three-pointers. She scored both inside and from the perimeter, knocking down four three-pointers while also controlling the paint. Kaut's rebounding created second-chance opportunities and helped Napavine stay within reach when Davenport built early momentum. Her scoring surge in the second half helped swing the game back in Napavine's favor. In a one-point overtime game, that level of production was critical.
