After a competitive first half, the Crusaders broke the game open with a 20-point third quarter and continued to build the lead from there. Northwest Christian shot nearly 58 percent from the field and controlled the boards with a 39-20 rebounding advantage. The Crusaders also generated 44 points in the paint, consistently attacking inside. The contest featured 15 lead changes as both teams traded scoring runs throughout the game. Davenport built an early lead, but Napavine responded with a strong second half that included improved perimeter shooting and efficient free throw scoring. In overtime, Napavine found the final edge to secure the one-point victory.
