2030 Stars on the Rise at the Sunshine State Showdown

Year 11 of the Sunshine State Showdown once again delivered at a high level, selling out this past weekend across two premier venues in Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida. With games hosted at Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus and The Skills Center, the event featured 11 courts buzzing with action, 157 teams competing, and over 25 media outlets in attendance alongside double-digit college coaches evaluating talent throughout the weekend. Programs from across Florida and Georgia were well represented, with national powerhouse [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] also in the building, creating a loaded atmosphere from start to finish. As one of the premier spring stops in the Southeast to kick off the travel ball season, the Sunshine State Showdown continues to set the standard for competition, exposure, and elite-level matchups. Here are some young 2030's who made noise at SSS:    Aleysha made a strong statement with her play, combining an elite motor with true three-level scoring ability that consistently put pressure on defenses. At 5'10, she has a solid frame that allows her to play through contact while still showing the skill to score from the perimeter, mid-range, and at the rim. Her competitive spirit stands out immediately—she embraces big moments, wants the ball, and doesn't shy away from taking and making tough shots. With her energy, confidence, and all-around scoring package, Aleysha has the tools and trajectory of a potential top 100 national prospect in the 2030 class.     Ashlee continues to separate herself as one of the elite prospects in the 2030 class, showing a polished and complete offensive skill set while playing up against older competition. A true three-level scorer, she can get to her spots with confidence, knock down shots with a quick, clean release, and create offense both on and off the bounce. Her ability to produce consistently against high-level competition only reinforces her standing as a top 10 player nationally in her class. With her skill, confidence, and advanced feel for the game, Ashlee is firmly in that upper tier and continues to trend as one of the most dangerous young scorers on the floor.     Princess showed why she's such an intriguing long-term prospect, making a strong impact while playing up on the 16U level. At 6'2, she brings great size to the frontcourt along with a natural feel for the game, and on Sunday she was a key piece in EGB pulling away—establishing herself inside and showcasing soft touch around the rim. She stayed active on the glass, creating extra opportunities and controlling space in the paint on both ends. Her ability to rise up and hit the mid-range jumper over defenders was very impressive. With her combination of size, developing skill set, and production against older competition, Princess has clear upside and a strong foundation to build on over the next four years in the 2030 class.     Italia has the kind of physical profile and tool‑set that projects extremely well at the next level — she brings a great frame and impressive raw strength for a post player her age that gives her a distinct advantage on both ends of the floor. Her combination of size and developing fundamentals allows her to establish position, finish through contact, and impact the game inside, and there's clear room for her skillset to expand as she continues to refine her touch and decision‑making around the basket. With her physical tools and upside, she's on track to be one of the higher‑recruited Florida frontcourt prospects in the 2030 class as she continues to grow and develop.     Lauren showcased a poised and efficient game, controlling the pace in transition and making smart decisions with the ball. Her smooth rotation on her shot allowed her to knock down jumpers consistently, while she also finished well on the break and at the rim with impressive body control. Always composed with the ball, Lauren is a consistent scoring threat who can create opportunities for herself and her teammates, making her a reliable offensive presence on every possession.     Mylana Duber is a versatile and high‑impact player who consistently produces on both ends of the floor. A consistent double‑digit scorer, she uses her length and strong frame to get to the right spots offensively and finish through contact at the rim. As a lefty with a quick catch‑and‑shoot release, she's difficult to defend from perimeter areas, while her ability to accumulate impressive stats shows her all-around impact.
