Her hard-nosed approach paid off, forcing turnovers at a rapid pace. Very pesky and annoying for the ball-handler to build confidence and get going. She was locked-in and ready to make an impact vs CTAB Elite. She attacked good looks from 3 with confidence and eventually, they started falling. She didn't get visibly rattled when her shots weren't falling and remained level-headed throughout. Her commitment to playing both sides of the ball was well-noted. She was vocal calling for the ball and also when encouraging her teammates, whether they were up or down in score. She showed off key characteristics of being a good team player; humble, hungry and communicative. She was aggressive in her pursuit of the ball vs DAPA and moved swiftly around the perimeter to impose her will. Quick switching off to cover help-side. She battled on the glass and did a great job adapting to the physicality and pace of the game. The opponent pushed the tempo in hopes of getting easy looks at the basket and Julia responded by hustling back on D and clogging the lanes.
