Kentucky Girls who showed out at The Clash, Part 3

Live Period always delivers, and The Clash was no exception. With 28 courts running nonstop at Spooky Nook and multiple venues across Cincinnati, the talent level was high from start to finish. Teams from all over made the trip, and Kentucky programs represented the Bluegrass State the right way. Here are some players who really stood out over the weekend.    Elin proved she can heat up in a hurry. She's a true scorer who can put points up in bunches, highlighted by her smooth, consistent stroke from beyond the arc. Elin also mixed in mid-range shots and attacked inside, using her body well to finish through contact. She sees the floor, makes solid reads, and brings active hands on the defensive end, rounding out a strong all-around performance.     [player_tooltip player_id='1809870' first='Gracie' last='Keene'], an 8th grader in the 2030 class, stepped up and played on the 2029 team without missing a beat. She scored in double figures in all four games, averaging 13 points and 8 rebounds while consistently producing against older competition. Gracie plays with a nonstop motor, crashing the glass, running the floor, and making winning plays every possession. She didn't just hold her own at this level, she impacted games in a major way and proved she's a name to track early.     Kendall was one of the most versatile players on the floor all weekend. She consistently showed her ability to be an inside-out threat, scoring with strength around the basket and stepping out to knock down perimeter shots, including from three. Kendall's size and physicality allowed her to guard multiple positions effectively, and she controlled the glass on both ends. Her presence impacted the game in every phase.     Aliva showed just how complete her offensive game is throughout the weekend. She scored at all three levels, getting downhill off the bounce, knocking down mid-range pull-ups, and spacing the floor with catch-and-shoot threes. Beyond scoring, Aliva displayed strong court awareness, finding cutters and making smart decisions with the ball. Her ability to read the game and produce in multiple ways made her tough to contain.       Gentry made her presence felt on both ends all weekend. Defensively, she was a problem, creating chaos with steals and deflections that turned into easy offense. On the other side, Gentry showed off deep shooting range with a quick, confident release. She handled pressure as a primary ball handler, attacked the rim when needed, and made the right reads as a passer. Her combination of toughness, skill, and composure stood out.     Maddy brought size and versatility to the floor at 5'9”. She averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals across four games, showing her ability to impact both ends. Maddy used her length to disrupt passing lanes defensively while also being comfortable playing inside or stepping out offensively. Her ability to guard multiple spots and contribute in different ways makes her a valuable piece with a lot of upside.     Kinley showed a lot throughout the weekend while playing up in the 2029 division and proved she belongs at that level. Kinley is an elite perimeter shooter with a smooth, confident release and the ability to stretch the floor consistently. She knocked down shots from beyond the arc, was effective in the mid-range, and showed great touch at the free throw line where she was nearly automatic. Beyond her scoring, Kinley competed hard on the defensive end, stayed in front of her matchup, and rebounded extremely well for a guard. Her ability to impact the game on both ends made her one of the more impressive young guards of the weekend.      Charlee was highly impressive running the show at the point guard position, showing poise, toughness, and leadership throughout the weekend. Strong, athletic, and physical, Charlee brings a different level of intensity to the guard spot and makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she was a high-level disruptor. Offensively, she can knock down the three when defenders back off, but her strength is attacking downhill, creating offense at the rim, and setting up teammates for easy opportunities.
