McGuire continued to show the growth in her game during Run 4 the Roses. The left-hander used her developing post game to score inside while also attacking defenders off the dribble and finishing through contact. Defensively, she protected the paint well and consistently made life difficult for opposing post players.

McGuire brought the skills out on offense with scoring in the paint including doing a backwards layup at one point. She powers through the contact when driving and made free throws. Rebounding strong and moving with urgency.

Maddy brought size and versatility to the floor at 5’9”. She averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals across four games, showing her ability to impact both ends. Maddy used her length to disrupt passing lanes defensively while also being comfortable playing inside or stepping out offensively. Her ability to guard multiple spots and contribute in different ways makes her a valuable piece with a lot of upside.
