[player_tooltip player_id='1266176' first='Jahzara' last='Marshall'] is a long and athletic two-way point guard who has all the tools to play at the next level. The 5-foot-10 underclassman is a fundamental shooter, handler, passer, and defender with a high game IQ. Marshall started as a freshman for Seaside and scored 41 three-pointers in her debut high school season—the second most single-season three-pointers in Lady Gulls history (her mom, Erika Hamer, a class of 2000 Cowapa League Player of the Year, holds the record with 60). Marshall averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block per game in her first year. She was named to the All-League First Team and was the only freshman to earn a 4A All-State award (Honorable Mention). Marshall said she enjoyed playing with the seniors and had automatic chemistry with fellow guard [player_tooltip player_id='832590' first='Carly' last='Corder']. She's looking forward to a rebuilding season at Seaside next year.

The multisport athlete (volleyball, softball) is also multinational. Marshall was born in London, where her mom played professionally, and her dad is Guyanese. While being the daughter of a next-level player (and the granddaughter of the former longtime Seaside girls basketball head coach, Wally Hamer) can bring real pressure, it also has real perks. Erika Hamer, Marshall's trainer, said she wants her daughter to destroy all of her records.

Marshall is running with NW Greyhounds in the 3SSB circuit this spring and summer. She's enjoying club ball and said it feels like a family. She is working on being a vocal leader, reading the defense, and getting to the rim. Marshall is only on the way up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1222751' first='Annalee' last='Cohen'] is an efficient three-level scorer who can shoot the three-ball. The 5-foot-11 wing led Wells in scoring, rebounding, and blocks as a freshman — 12 PPG (42% FG), 6 RPG, 3 APG, 2 SPG, 2 BPG — and was named to the Portland Interscholastic League Second Team. She scored 60 three-pointers at a 37% clip in her debut high school season. Cohen moves well on the bounce and can finish on the eurostep to the rim or knock down a turnaround fadeaway midrange jumper. You can find her running with [program_tooltip program_id='713147' first='Oregon' last='Elite'] this spring.

Five-foot-11 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1827159' first='Autumn' last='Palmer'] can run the floor and compete inside and out on both ends. The freshman was a versatile and key player for South Salem and was named to the Central Valley Conference Second Team. Palmer can pull up from deep and drain contested three pointers, and she gets after it on defense. The underclassman rose to the challenge in competitive games. Against rival West Salem, Palmer led the Lady Saxons with 17 points on 4 three-pointers made. She has a bright future at South Salem.

[player_tooltip player_id='1657725' first='Marisa' last='Chan'] is a speedy point guard who attacks the rim in transition and the halfcourt. She has a quick first step, finds the angle, and can dish or finish athletic takes. The freshman was a vocal leader on the JV team at Oregon City. She directed traffic, moved the ball, and led her teammates with crisp passes. Chan especially connected well with her bigs in a variety of ways. She's running with Oregon Overtime this spring and said she's specifically working on her reads, jumpshots, and ball security. Her favorite player is Azzi Fudd because she's a good teammate who models elite defense.
