Standout Class of 2029 Forwards from the Phee Elite Classic

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of talented Class of 2029 forwards and posts who caught our eye at last weekend's Napheesa Collier Elite Classic, which was held at The Principia School in St. Louis.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0394.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1827328" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1274953' first='Maelie' last='Still'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 3SSB 15U): A 5'10" forward form Liberty North who is a very high energy player. She played with one of the most impressive motors that I witnessed during the weekend. She is a strong all-purpose player. She has good defensive instincts as she got into the passing lanes for steals and constant deflections. She made a steal on one play and run the full court to score on an offensive putback. She is a good secondary ball handler who keeps the ball moving and the offense flowing. She also rebounds the ball very well.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0375.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1827340" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1274215' first='Audrey' last='Grimshaw'] (Phee Elite 15U Stricker): A 5'11" forward from Francis Howell North who is a matchup problem with her height and offensive skill set. In the game I watched, she was knocking down catch and shoot 3-pointers off the catch. She is also a dependable ball handler who can make a play off the dribble. She has good athleticism as she rebounds the ball and runs the court well in transition.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0449.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1827343" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1690610' first='Bailey' last='Land'] (Troy 15U): A 6'2" forward from Clopton who is an up and coming talent in the small school ranks. She has good fundamentals inside to go with her height. I was also impressed with her mobility and her shooting touch in the post with either hand. She is a high energy player. The young lefty is active and always seems to be around the ball. She drives the ball well when she gets to her dominant left hand and she is also a very good offensive rebounder.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0350.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1827347" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1261080' first='Chloe' last='Abernathy'] (Phee Elite 15U Humiston): A 6'0" forward from Jackson who joins her twin sister on the team as a pair of talented young forwards. She is the right-handed twin. She has good athleticism and good defensive instincts and activity. She does a good job of playing to her height. When she catches the ball or grabs a rebound, she keeps the ball high. She gets good seals in the post and she can also pass it well out of the post to open shooters.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7176.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417143" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='884609' first='Sophie' last='Hall'] (Phee Elite 15U Adams): A 6'0" forward from Farmington who has soft hands to catch and ball along with a nice shooting touch around the basket. She was also not afraid to play with physicality in the lane. She did a good job getting position for low post catches and rebounding on a regular basis.
