It's time for the last update to the class of 2026, and we were able to add some more names to our ever growing watch list in the state of North Carolina. Here are my notes on some of the new names that are worth your attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823164' first='Laneigh' last='Scales'] was grabbing rebounds with ease on both ends of the court. Her length was an asset grabbing steals, too, as it seemed like her hands kept getting in the way on defense. She took matters into her own hands attacking the basket from the top of the key.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823169' first='Zarah' last='Gray'] was feisty on both ends of the court. She came up with steals exploding in the way of her opponents' passing lanes and she handled the ball with speed pushing the tempo. She was attacking the basket driving hard downhill getting to the rim. She's lightning quick coming up behind her opponents trying to score in transition and knocking the ball away.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823171' first='TT' last='McCollum'] was tough in the paint grabbing rebounds and going to work on the block to score her points. She did well setting herself up at the free throw line looking for the pass and hitting her teammate in stride on her way to the basket. She used this same court vision on the other end to be an asset on defense anticipating what her opponents were going to do.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823196' first='Mahalia' last='Thoms'] was doing a little bit of everything hustling up the floor for the pass in transition and crashing boards on both ends of the court for some rebounds. She was doing whatever it takes to gain the possession for her team including diving on the floor after loose balls and knocking the ball away from her opponents trying to dribble by her. She had a big block late in the game protecting the basket.
