17U Prospects to See at the PGH Wisconsin State Tournament

I'm excited to see some of the younger talent around whom I need to catch up on as we head into the second half of the grassroots season. No matter where she's on the court, and whoever she's lined up against, she believes she can make an impact play. She's wired to compete and wants to win above all else, and a player with that mentality will be a valuable part of a college program. Since she got to high school, defense has always been her calling card, but she displayed a new side to her game offensively after other guards had graduated. I think she has gotten better in the post and played stronger around the basket as she's matured as a player. Dwyer is a winning player who impacts games and helps her team win on the margins. She struggled to open her junior season, and each time I saw her play, she never seemed fazed by her early-season struggles, which shows her character. The cherry on top of that is the second half against Whitefish Bay to help earn a share of the conference title. Her Orioles team hit its stride late in the season because of her, and she helped Hartford nearly reach its second state tournament in the past three seasons. The more I see her play, the more I enjoy what she brings to the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
