The De Pere Red Birds are a talented group who compete; they are more than the sum of their parts, and Dwyer exemplifies that. She is willing to play any role she needs to help her team. She can score 20 in any game, play a high-pressure defensive role, or take less than five shots and still help her team compete. She’s the ultimate glue kid.

The De Pere wing has had her moments playing for one of the more prominent programs in the Green Bay area over the past few seasons. Dwyer is a winning player who impacts games and helps her team win on the margins. On any given night, she can score 20, lead her team in rebounding, make game-changing plays defensively, and is willing to slot in any role her team needs her to play.

Like most of the De Pere kids, Dwyer is an aspect of what makes the Red Birds a handful to play against. The sophomore may not be an otherwordly talent like others who’ve come through the FRCC, but she makes winning plays. Dwyer is an instinctive defender who gets her hands on the ball by earning deflections, jumping passing lanes, or diving after loose balls. She feels like she can be in multiple places at one time, which may be more of a result of how De Pere defends as a unit, but Dwyer’s one of the better ones of the bunch.

The De Pere sophomore is an excellent example of why the Red Birds are flying high this season. Dwyer makes winning plays on and away from the ball. She’s a feisty defensive kid who’s played passing lanes well and has been an excellent aspect of the Red Birds’ defense in her time on the floor. She’s generated live-ball turnovers in the backcourt, which has led to momentum-shifting scores, and that’s helped De Pere win games.
