After covering the 16U division at Duel for the Dynasty, here are the five players who stood out the most.    By the second day of the tournament, Jefferson was in full rhythm. She's a guard that makes it count on the glass, attacking for second-chance opportunities and powering through contact to earn trips to the line. Her downhill game is polished—she gets into the lane with purpose, and her footwork and pace reflect a strong feel for reading the defense and making the right counters. Not only a threat in transition, but also in a structured half-court offense, Jefferson had enough room to create and attack showing mid range shooting abilities as well.     A solid 6-foot presence who makes her impact felt on the glass, but doesn't stop there—she can secure the rebound and push in transition herself. Shows a strong face-up game from the high post, using a quick first step to get inside the defense and finish at the rim or rise into a jumper. Defensively, she brings toughness and versatility, with the footwork to contain on the perimeter and the length to protect the paint.     A long, rangy 6-footer who can play inside-out and stretch the floor as a shooter. She understands spacing and does a great job keeping the ball moving, consistently helping with reversals to keep the offense flowing. Her size allows her to see over the defense and deliver strong cross-court passes, keeping teammates involved. Comfortable handling and bringing the ball up, she stays poised under pressure, using subtle changes in pace and direction to shake the defense off.     Byrd understands timing to get on the boards and rebound. She isn't afraid to body up and carve out space. She secures the ball high and uses a quick step to get inside positioning, often going to a shot fake before powering back up. Offensively, she shows touch with a high-arching jumper and can create separation with a strong step-back, knocking it down with confidence. Constantly moving without the ball is a key factor that separates her as well.     A consistent ball handler who handles pressure with poise, keeping her head up and displaying strong court awareness. She understands how to shift defenses by moving the ball with purpose and consistently getting her team into rhythm in the halfcourt. Primarily a distributor, she creates flow for others but is also capable of knocking down the three when needed. Inside the arc, she has a reliable floater, giving her a steady scoring option when she chooses to keep the play alive rather than kick it out.
