The tone of the day was set on the defensive end. From the opening games through the afternoon, players brought energy, toughness, and a high level of focus on that side of the ball. Guards applied pressure, wings jumped passing lanes, and posts protected the rim, all contributing to disrupted offenses and transition opportunities. Whether it was forcing turnovers, contesting shots, or making hustle plays, these prospects showed that defensive effort can be just as impactful as scoring—especially with college coaches watching every possession.
