She stays active with her hands, consistently getting into passing lanes and creating deflections and steals. Offensively, she showed her ability to stretch the floor, knocking down a couple shots from beyond the arc. Alexis made a splash in her AAU debut with Mystics 17U S40 at the PGH MI Tour. She was active on the defensive end, poking the ball out for a steal, pushing it the other way, and finishing with her left hand in top gear. Alexis drained a three up top and from the corner. She’s confident and always ready to let it fly from beyond the arc. Alexis plays fast and switches hands comfortably in the open court with her eyes up.

My goal at every event is to put a talented high school player who doesn’t compete on the travel circuit directly in front of college coaches. Alexis is one of those prospects who is a perfect fit for many of the college programs attending, and this will most likely be the first time most coaches see her play. Alexis is a 1,000-point scorer from Imlay City who can slash to the rim, push the pace with her dribble, create steals, and rip the nets from beyond the arc when she gets hot. She’s a playmaker I’ve enjoyed watching throughout her career, and I’m very excited to have her competing in front of college coaches at the Headliners Invitational Showcase.

She pushed the ball with pace to score full-court transition layups and converted free throws with a smooth follow-through at the line. Alexis drained four triples from different spots, including two of three within thirty seconds. When she gets hot, it’s going to be a long night for the defense. After clawing their way back, the Spartans overtime tied. Alexis sealed the deal in sudden death.
