New Additions of Forwards to the Class of 2027 Updated Rankings

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri released its newly updated Class of 2027 rankings this week. Here is a look at a group of forwards who are new additions to the updated rankings.     [player_tooltip player_id='1851373' first='Faith' last='Peters'] (Smithville): A 6'2" forward who really emerged a force in the paint during her junior season. She was an impact player at both ends of the floor. She uses her height to her advantage very well with how she positions herself inside and how she keeps the ball high. She has good footwork and moves from drop steps to up and unders to score. She averaged 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field.     [player_tooltip player_id='1859009' first='Calleigh' last='Noah'] (Clopton, pictured): A 5'10" power forward who was a strong contributor on a Hawks team that won 28 games and advanced to the Class 2 state quarterfinals. She provided the physical strength and toughness in the paint. She is very good at sealing her defenders for position and scoring in the low post. She averaged seven points and four rebounds while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field.     [player_tooltip player_id='1851380' first='Mia' last='Faught'] (Moberly): A 5'9" forward who has seen her role grow on the team since she entered the program as a freshman of a state quarterfinals team. She is a solid all-around athlete who also excels in softball. She is a versatile player who roams the perimeter well with her 3-point shooting ability. She can also handle the ball and work on the inside at both ends of the court.     [player_tooltip player_id='1851385' first='Macee' last='Blythe'] (Savannah): A 5'9 forward who was a solid all-around forward for the Savages in helping them to a very successful 22-5 season. She is strong and she plays with good positioning around the basket. She rebounds well and she screens well. As a junior, she averaged 8.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and nearly two steals a game.       [player_tooltip player_id='1851370' first='Paige' last='Russell'] (Iberia): A 5'11" forward who is one of the top frontcourt players in the Frisco League. She is a solid low post player who finishes well inside and is a strong offensive rebounder. She is a good passer who can hit open cutters from the high post and she runs the court very well in transition.
