Here are 6 to keep tabs on this summer who may Rise Up

[player_tooltip player_id='929981' first='Jayda' last='Jordan'] Marana

A taller power forward from Tucson caught my eye at the annual Southern Showcase that I attend yearly. She moves fluidly from end to end and rebounds the ball in and out of her area with a plus motor. She also will score it with hook shots, layups in traffic and offensive rebound put backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1810667' first='Macey' last='Wadsworth'] Highland

A taller scoring guard may get her chance to have more production this season with more playing time. She uses her size to score inside with offensive rebound put backs but is on the court for her high skill level and premier shooting. She will catch and shoot and fire away from the three point line and her handle is better then you realize.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154412' first='Addison' last='Krupnik'] Valley Christian

A decent sized power forward is highly productive for the 3A school. She works well from inside and out as she can extend her range out to the three point line but then bang with bigger players with her strength and skill. She plays like you should and will have a bigger role the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154413' first='Alexandra' last='Mushahwar'] Rancho Solano Prep

One of my personal favorites in the class seems like her best basketball is ahead of her. I talked about her in my last article as she has good size and plus length and her versatility to play and defend multiple positions makes her a potential stock riser. She will also score it with perimeter jumpers and work inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1212173' first='Lourdes' last='Carranza'] Canyon View

The undersized point guard may be small but her IQ for the game, court awareness and skill are very high. She plays the right way like a daughter of a coach would. She will hit the three and can play on or off the ball and smartly goes to the open spot. She sees the court well and makes smart decisions with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='852314' first='Claire' last='Carnal'] Pinnacle

Another undersized scoring point guard with a huge IQ, big skill and advanced court vision. She will make plays for her teammates with her IQ and feel but is best at filling it up. She will catch and shoot it from the three point line and rattle triples in one by one. She will also pester the ball with her quick feet and hands.
