Prospects to Make Time to Watch This AAU Season

Every year during the AAU season, there are players who I enjoy watching more than most. I haven't been to too many events yet this grassroots season, but there are already a handful of players I've enjoyed watching. The players I'll highlight today are also prospects I feel like I haven't discussed their games enough. That said, tonight we will take a look at a handful of players who have raised my eyebrows when I've seen them play.    The [program_tooltip program_id='1824595' first='Team' last='Prime Nation'] forward has all the tools to be a forward who can help a program at the next level once she gets there. Loreke is a physical player who excels at controlling the areas around the rim on both ends of the floor. She can finish through contact on the offensive end and contest or block shots on the defensive end without fouling. She will be a player who will catch some coaches' attention while playing EYBL again this spring and summer.     The Oshkosh native has all the physical tools to change a game on either end of the floor. Nelson is an athletic player who excels in playing high-possession games and has steadily improved on the offensive end of the floor. She has shown that she can create offensively and get her teammates involved as a passer, which may be where the most growth in her game has come. She is a player to track throughout the grassroots season.     The Dells native is a player who put together an excellent sophomore campaign and helped her program reach the D3 State Championship game this past winter. Her athletic tools stood amongst an excellent tournament field, and she was comfortable getting to her spots and scoring from all three levels. Her athletic tools will also help her continue to elevate her defensive game. I would also not be stunned if Alwin ended up being the breakout player of the spring and summer in the 2028 class.     The athletic tools are all there for Crowe to be a scholarship-level player, and the opportunities are already there for her. Crowe showed what she was capable of late in the AAU season in 2025 and built on that with an excellent high school campaign this past winter. She's a competitive player who can do everything on both ends of the floor, and I'd expect more interest to come her way the rest of the way until she decides where she will play her four years of college basketball.
