Under-the-Radar Players to See in Appleton

I'm excited to see some of the younger talent around whom I need to catch up on as we head into the second half of the grassroots season. Warborg was the engine of her high school team and put together an impressive two-way season for a program that has seen some talented players come through over the last five years. She has all the physical tools to be an intriguing frontcourt prospect and has plenty of room to grow. Duchac has plenty of length and is a mobile player for her size. She has a mix of quickness and physicality, which allows her to put pressure on the rim almost whenever she wants. The lefty put together an impressive season for a Milton program that nearly reached the State Tournament this past season, coming up just short. However, her physical tools help her be a constant threat whenever she's on the floor, and that's not something I can always say about some of the household names around the state. However, there may not be a player more fun to watch play in a setting where she's allowed to play free and make some mistakes. Brown is among the most creative players in her class, and when she's at her best, she can do things most players in her class simply can't. Again, there is plenty of room for growth in her game, but there may not be a more creative kid in the gym over the weekend.
