The West has become one of the most dynamic talent regions in girls basketball, blending elite skill development, pace, versatility, and increasing national exposure. California remains the centerpiece, but the growth across surrounding states is making the region deeper than ever entering the 2029 cycle. Here are some players in the West you won't see ranked on other national platforms...yet:    Chloe continues to impress while playing up with [program_tooltip program_id='716215' first='Colorado' last='Hoopsters'] 17U and competing successfully against older talent with a polished offensive skill set. She gets great elevation on her jumper, finishes craftily around the basket, and consistently creates offense both for herself and others with the ball in her hands. Her ability to balance scoring and playmaking has made her one of the more intriguing guards in the region/country, and she now holds a long list of P4 offers with Oklahoma, Baylor, and Alabama all extending offers since the April evaluation period.     Nuari brings a strong, physical frame and a versatile offensive package that allows her to score at all three levels, with particular effectiveness in the mid-range and as a floor spacer. She has shown the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter while also creating her own looks off the bounce and finishes off two feet when needed. Her body control is next level. On the defensive end, she rebounds well for her position and consistently plays with effort and physicality, making her a reliable two-way presence. Her overall versatility continues to make her an intriguing long-term prospect in the West region.     Amaya brings a strong, physical frame to the frontcourt with the ability to stretch the floor, score in the mid-range, and operate with a back-to-the-basket game when needed. She consistently controls the paint on both ends, using her strength and positioning to rebound at a high level while also crashing the glass with energy and effort. Her motor stands out at the post position, allowing her to impact possessions beyond just scoring. Following the April live period, she added offers from Oklahoma and Cal.     Alanah plays up a level with the Cal Stars 16U group and continues to stand out as one of the shiftiest and smoothest point guards in the region. She keeps the ball on a string with elite control, consistently manipulating defenders with pace, change of direction, and creativity off the dribble. Her vision as a playmaker allows her to create clean looks for teammates, while she also shows confidence as a shooter when defenses sag off. Alanah's combination of feel, skill, and guard craft makes her a tough cover in any matchup.     Ari has one of the most polished mid-range games in the 2029 class while consistently getting to two feet and playing with a level of poise and patience well beyond her age. During Session 1 in Arizona, she played up a class with Why Not Premier 16U EYBL and produced across the board, averaging 12.4 PPG, 3 APG, and 1.2 BPG while impacting the game in multiple ways. Her ability to operate efficiently in all areas of the floor and control tempo makes her a steady offensive option, while her feel as a playmaker continues to expand. Following the April evaluation period, she added an offer from Florida.
