I started at the Mansfield Fieldhouse on opening day and finished off that night at Mansfield Legacy High School, and to say I was running on fumes would be an understatement, yet so many players gave me that extra boost to get my adrenaline going, I decided I'd work my way backwards

Seifert's upside is scary because, as good as I knew she was, her ceiling is high, and her score multiple ways in a span of 2 minutes had me SMH. She's a long and athletic guard who slices by defenders to score off the dribble, and seeing her add the HEZ into the equation is a problem for defenders. Her "stop and pop" as well as her "catch and shoot" were both effective, but her turnaround jumper is a game-changer. Her "on the ball" defense, as well as court vision, also looked good

Turner has experienced growth spurts both on and off the court; see evaluations here. Although she's in that #sizedontmatter group, it doesn't matter because you can't teach heart or desire, and her "on the ball" pressure, as well as diving on the floor for loose balls, helped create havoc that led to turnovers. She scored off the dribble and dropped the pull-up jumper, but seeing the floor was another plus

Blakemore corrected me when I told her I hadn't seen her in 3 years; she said it was 2, which is perfect because of the variety of ways she scored see evaluations here, so yes, she uses her athleticism on both ends. Baseline-to-baseline pressure was smothering at times, but seeing her attack the basket and finish strongly after contact also looked good. She rebounded, scored around the basket, putbacks included, and also dropped the jumper, but seeing her thread the needle in transition needs to be mentioned as well, because it gave her teammates good looks

Salas smoothly sets the defender up by using a deceptive first step to attack the basket to score or dish off the dribble, yet she also creates her shot while being defended and drops the jumper from mid to long range. Her "catch and shoot" with a hand in her face was nice, and she saw the floor both in the open court as well as in the set

Oaks keeps climbing up the tree, see evaluations here, and having added her into the mix on the last update, she's showing those "nightmare to defend" signs because of her explosiveness off the dribble, coupled with finishing acrobatically after contact. Her court vision, as well as court sense, and being aware of how much time is on the clock are #THROWBACK type things, so watching her drop the jumper from multiple spots keeps getting better. Her "on the ball" defense was sold, and she played the passing lane

Johnson made things happen on both ends, and yes, she too is in that #sizedontmatter mix, but seeing her mixing it up offensively looked good. She handled the ball and saw the floor under pressure, and her "catch and shoot" from deep, as well as scoring off the dribble, looked good as well, yet she kept the heat going defensively
