Her court vision, as well as court sense, and being aware of how much time is on the clock are #THROWBACK type things, so watching her drop the jumper from multiple spots keeps getting better. Oaks will be climbing up the tree, and since I hadn’t seen her in over a year, see evaluations here my initial sighting assured me I was looking at the beginning of something special developing on the court. I’m going to be real with you, she doesn’t realize how good she is because the offensive skills she has are something you can’t teach, so let me put it another way, “her ceiling has no roof.”

Oaks left me speechless on my initial sighting last season, see evaluation here, yet she will be one of those players who make an immediate impact when she enters high school next season. Her explosiveness has gotten better, and so has her court vision, but her “stop and pop” jumper is a problem for defenders; her “on the ball” pressure helped to create turnovers, and she played the passing lane

Oaks is a “long and athletic” guard, that’s also the base and her ability to zig-zag in traffic by defenders got me going early, but her ability to DAZZLE with the ball and attack the rim strongly to finish was special. Her “stop and pop” jumper is nice, so is her defense and yes, she plays the passing lane
